Development of Vallalar’s Sanmarga literature in English and other major languages

Project Overview

• Vallalar Universal Mission – USA has been working to create awareness and spread the teachings of Vallalar to non Tamils
• In this process, it is has been difficult to reach the right audience without good Sanmarga literature in English that can give the appropriate information to readers and aspirants seeking info.
• Similar concerns were raised by spiritual seekers around the world.  •Historically some scholars have been instrumental in translating some of Vallalar’s works in English but not all
• We need good Sanmarga literatures in English to take Sanmarga to people around the world which is in line with Vallalar’s vision
• English being the link to all languages, translation to English will lead helping to develop the literature in other languages

Objectives/Tasks

To support this mission

• Search Sanmarga related books and index them and make the information available in one place
• Identify good books that are not available in the market and republish or help to republish them
• Encourage Sanmarga English writers to write books and help them to publish electronically
• With help of Sanmarga and language scholars, translate Thiruvarutpa songs, prose and other works of Vallalar to English and other languages
